Numerical modeling for pigging operations in oil and gas two-phase flow pipelines

摘要：
A numerical modeling:method for simulating completely behavior of oil and gas pipeline subjected to pigging operations was developed. A transient model for two-phase flow is incorporated to the model, so as to deal with flow behavior of upstream two-phase flow and downstream two-phase flow. Combination of pigging model and transient two-phase flow model can simulated successfully overall process of pigging by tracing interface between adjacent sections during solving equations.
