摘要：

The article reveals the factors which define use of the travesty - connected with historical and cultural norms, and determined by specific art objectives of the author. The second case is connected with situations of representation of the certain age features of the hero/heroine, parody and grotesque, and also infernal images. Relation of the last two situations with a carnival esthetics is noted.
