摘要
The performance of various building control strategies needs to be assessed and verified before applying to buildings, either by experiments or simulation. Verification by simulation can save a lot of time and labor. However, there is no single tool which is strong on both building physics simulation and control system emulation. Therefore a verification test bed coupling TRNSYS with MATLAB/Simulink is developed in order to fully utilize the advantages of both tools and to evaluate the performance of control strategies more quickly and accurately. This co-simulation environment is established using TRNSYS to simulate an office building severed by a variable air volume (VAV) system and a ground source heat pump (GSHP) and coupling TRNSYS and MATLAB via Typel55. State-of-art building control strategies are selected to be assessed by this co-simulation test bed and the assessment results are analyzed.
