摘要:
In this study, the synthesis of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) with different shapes was reported, which was based on the elevated-temperature hydrolysis of chelate ion alkoxide complexes in solution containing alcohol, diethylene glycol (DEG) and diethanolamine (DEA). Herein, the shape of the LDHs was controlled by the type of reaction media, and then nanomaterials with shapes of rose, cotton candy, and regular hexagon can be obtained. Employing this novel method, the shape, particle size and surface area of LDHs were controlled and particle aggregation was prevented, which significantly promoted the application of LDHs in drug delivery.
