Matrix reinforcement interaction in SiC/316L stainless steel composite

摘要
The matrix reinforcement interaction that occurs during processing of 316L stainless steel composite with SiC reinforcement was examined. It was found that the critical temperature where the formation of γFe-SiC eutectic occurs in SiC/316L stainless steel happens to be 1100°C.
