摘要
The fire and rescue service is undoubtedly one of the best organised functional units of the state. Its importance still increases in case of incident occurrence. The preparation for the occurrence and control of an incident is always desirable. In the majority of cases, the preparation is carried out in the framework of civil emergency preparedness of various subjects that may influence the security of territorial units and their infrastructures. It is potable and firefighting water distribution systems in towns and municipalities that belong to the most significant systems in relation to the fire and rescue service. Their optimum function can very often decide about the health and life of citizens and simultaneously the amount of material damage caused by fires. In the case of simultaneous occurrences of two or more incidents in the public and the technical infrastructure, a critical situation endangering the standard expected activity of intervening brigades may arise. The text of the contribution shows how to determine and eliminate the given natural and anthropogenic risks to an acceptable level.
