摘要：
Information manager is not a protected term for a defined profession, but some expectations concerning professional skills are correlated to it by representatives of business organizations. The text tries to describe these expected profiles, using among others a recent Austrian study, and tries to explain the resulting relation to computer science, Chances and risks of the term information manager in face of potential employers are shown.
