摘要
This paper contains the results of our numerical investigations into particle sizing by analysis the time-dependent formation of the scattered light. We use an extended Mie theory for calculation the differences in time between the signals of reflection and higher order of refraction. The corresponding optical path lengths of light rays are computed by the principles of geometrical optics. By using a Debye series expansion it is possible to take into account single orders of scattered light. In detail we demonstrate the pulse-induced generation of scattered light for the refraction of first and second order as function of the detection angle.
