Raman and optical spectroscopy studies in Tm3+/Dy3+-codoped zinc tellurite glasses

摘要
In this work, we investigated the structural and optical properties of zinc tellurite glass matrices doped with Tm3+ and Dy3+. Raman spectra show the structural units and vibrational modes of two glass matrices composed of TeO2 and ZnO. The chemical composition of the glass and the doping with the rare earth ion changed the frequency and intensity of the Boson peaks, Te-O-Te, TeO4, and TeO3 structural units and the vibrational modes of the glass matrices. Analysis of the luminescent properties suggests that the variation in the structural disorder of the glass matrices plays an important role in the luminescence properties of the system. Similar behavior in the glass matrices doped with Dy3+ and codoped with Tm3+/Dy3+ was observed, where varying the concentration of Dy3+ observed an energy transfer mechanism.
