摘要
This article, focused on the Textual Linguistics (CAVALCANTE et al., 2021) currently advocated in Brazil, aims at showing how the apprehension of stereotypes (both at the production and interpretation levels) can collaborate to the (re) construction of the argumentative dimension of digital native genres. To achieve the intended goal, we will analyze some examples of genres that circulated in the Brazilian context during the year 2021: an online news article and six tweets (two tweets-answer and four retweets). All these tweets are related to two tweets posted by the Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and the content of web news. The selected texts deal with controversial issues, brought up by political actors, having been discussed in the public sphere. Exploratory results, qualitative in nature, demonstrate the added value of the study of stereotypes to achieve the desired argumentative effectiveness. Evidently, this is still a preliminary study, requiring an expansion of the corpus in order to achieve more generic results.
