Dielectric relaxation in a proton glass

摘要
We study the dielectric relaxation in a hydrogen-bonded mixed ferro-and antiferroelectric crystal based on the mean field analysis of an Ising model (with quenched disorder) in a transverse field. We compare our results with existing measurements on Rb1-x(NH4)(x)H2PO4. We find that strong quantum effects lead to unusual behaviour hitherto unobserved in experiments.
