Ge(NR2)2 (R = SiMe3) insertion into LAu-Cl bonds

摘要
Germylene Ge(NR2)(2) (R = SiMe3) inserts into the Au-Cl bond of LAuCl (L = PPh3, PCy3, PEt3, PMe2Ph, PMePh2) giving LAu-GeCl(NR2)(2) (1). Treatment of [(PPh3Au)(3)(mu-O)]BF4 with Ge(NR2)(2) results in fluoride abstraction from BF4- and formation of LAu-GeF(NR2)(2) (2). Complexes 1 and 2 are photoluminescent and NMR data indicate dynamic behavior in solution most likely as a result of phosphine exchange. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
