Life-cycle assessment of product through of the SWOT analysis

Any entity entering into the life cycle of the product must also bear responsibility for its influence and be involved in the reduction of the overall negative impact on the environment. Not only in the world but also in Slovakia, have companies attempted to apply analytical methods for assessing the life cycle of products. This method compares the different environmental impacts of the products with respect to the different stages of their life cycle. Because of the complexity and inaccessibility of some information that is necessary for a full LCA, we decided to use SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis was carried out within an organization engaged in the manufacture of aluminum rims and was carried out separately for each phase of product's LC, starting from raw material extraction and processing of materials to the end phase of product's life.
