摘要
Surgical site infections (SSI) are postoperative complications that constitute a major public health problem. We present a rare case report of infection by Buttiauxella agrestis, a member of the Enterobacteriaceae family, occurring after a cesarean delivery in a young woman with no comorbidities. The authors further discuss the origin of this infection. (C) 2014 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd on behalf of International Society for Infectious Diseases.
