摘要：

The development of modern communication networks has been viewed as an important tool in addressing many of the problems of rural areas. The present paper describes in detail an agricultural network over Internet proposed recently by the authors for all rural users. By this network, remote users get the information they need, when they want it and where they want it, in order to promote rural development of the Mediterranean countries. Copyright (C) 1998 IFAC.
