摘要
The problem of wide-band high resolution radar target detection in the cluttered circumstance is studied. A high-resolution polarization target detection scheme is presented based on intense scatterer integration. Because of the intrinsic high-resolution characteristic of wide-band waveform, one dimension range profile of a radar target can be obtained. In connection with target's polarization characteristics, the number and distribution of intense scatterer in target's echo can be estimated. SCR(Signal-to-Clutter-Ratio) can be improved efficiently by integration of these intense scatterer in corresponding resolution cells. Experiment results show that radar's detection performance can be improved significantly by using the algorithm presented in this paper.
