摘要
The following article proposes a reflection about intersubjective dynamics given between a researcher and his field, having as a frame of study the belief, in particular the one that refers to New Age spirituality. The fundamental question that delineates such reflection and that arises from a field experience is: What role does it have and to what problems does the belief of a researcher take once he decides to venture to study the beliefs of others? So, my starting point to answer this question, is a field narrative that intersperses theoretical-methodological notes that try to put into discussion some of the postulates of authors belonging to postmodern anthropology (particularly I will focus on Clifford Geertz and James Clifford) and of others who tried to think the field of belief.
