摘要
A neural network approach to assist managers in deciding whether to abandon an ongoing research and development (R&D)/innovation project at various stages of R&D is present, back-propagation algorithm is used to learn the connection weights of the neural network. It has been shown by the modeling and evaluating results about termination decisions of eleven R&D project that the method possesses reinforcement learning properties. With respect to modeling and terminating decisions of R&D project, which has the fact that the evaluation criteria are hardly ever determined by statistical analysis, the method is available.
