摘要
Chairside management of an open proximal contact with an implant-supported ceramic crown next to an adjacent natural tooth using direct composite resin is presented in this article. The open proximal contact negatively impacts the periodontium and the long-term success of the implant and restoration, as well as the adjacent tooth. A strong resin bond is achieved by airborne-particle abrading, etching with hydrofluoric acid, and by applying a silane coupling agent and an adhesive resin bonding agent.
