摘要
Finite element analysis of induction machines is becoming commonplace as computational power continues to increase. However, time-stepped analysis is still considered to be too time consuming for everyday design use. Developing a new, potentially faster approach, this paper compares a number of techniques for two-dimensional time-stepped analysis of skewed induction machines. The simulation results allow the performance of the techniques to be evaluated for accuracy against test results and for cost in terms of computation time.
