摘要
In this paper The current understanding of the structure of the proton is reviewed, along with a framework within which diffractive deep inelastic processes may be studied. More over, the presence of diffraction in deep inelastic scattering is suggested, confirmed and quantified. At the end, our conventional DGLAP analysis which results in a good description of diffractive structure functions at higher values of Q2 is detailed and the present level of understanding of the partonic structure of the diffractive exchange is discussed.
