摘要
Based on Jerusalem-cross frequency selective surface (FSS), a dual-band Jerusalem-cross slot antenna is quickly designed for 5G mid-band applications and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detectors used in airports at frequencies of 3.2 and 9.4 GHz, respectively. It is found that the simulated -10 dB bandwidths are 28.8 % and 30.9 % at 3.2 and 9.4 GHz respectively. The measured -10 dB bandwidths are 25.1 % and 17.4 % at 3.2 and 9.4 GHz, respectively. The simulated and measured results of radiation patterns in the E- and H-plane at frequencies of 3.2 and 9.4 GHz are broad and smooth. The antenna gains obtained by measurement and simulation at frequencies of 3.2 and 9.4 GHz are close to 3.8 and 5.3 dBi, respectively.
