摘要：

This work mainly deals with the application of Cellular Automata to the simulation of Satellite Remote Sensing Images which is a typical real-life image analysis problem. Cellular Automata is applied to solve a diffusion equation, to simulate cloud behavior and the simulation results are compared with the actual images.
