Simple and efficient approach to synthesis of [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b][1,2,4,6]thiatriazine-1-oxides from N-triazol-3-ylamidines

摘要：
A facile method for the synthesis of [1,2,4] triazolo[4,3-b][1,2,4,6] thiatriazine 1-oxides 3a-h is presented. The approach involves a reaction between N--triazol-3-ylamidines 2a-h and thionyl chloride in the presence of pyridine. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral studies including IR, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, MS and elemental analysis.
