Nanoporous film-mediated growth of ultrathin and continuous metal-organic framework membranes for high-performance hydrogen separation

摘要
An ultrathin and continuous ZIF-8 membrane as thin as similar to 550 nm was fabricated via a spatially confined contra-diffusion process, in which a nanoporous network film is utilized as an interlayer mediator to control the nucleation and growth of ZIF-8 crystals. The membrane exhibits a high H-2 permeance up to 6.31 x 10(-7) mol m(-2) s(-1) pa(-1) and simultaneously maintains a high ideal selectivity of 43 for H-2/CO2.
