Exploration on the Internationalization Development Approaches of Tourism Management Major in Chinese Vocational Colleges

The internationalization of modern education is a new trend of the contemporary Chinese educational reform. Only through the globalization of tourism education, the internationalization of the tourism industry in Tianjin would be promoted, which may contribute largely to achieve the overall internationalization of the Tianjin City, which is an important economic center in North China. In this paper, the author discusses the internationalization development of tourism management major in Chinese vocational colleges by taking the hotel management major in Tianjin Maritime College as an example. The author stress that curriculum construction, English teaching, teaching staff team building, cooperative education, and enrollment and employment, are all important factors facilitating the internationalization and sustainable development of vocational colleges.
