摘要
A new three-dimensional model for the strengthening mechanism of metal matrix composites reinforced by TiNi shape memory alloy (SMA) fibers has been proposed. The predicted results by the present model are compared with the experimental and the predicted results by a one-dimensional model from the literature. (C) 2004 Acta Materialia Inc.
