Enhanced Electrical Conductivity and Stretchability of Stretchable Transparent Conductive Silver Nanowire Films by Using a Surface Modifier

摘要
Soft electronics with flexible and stretchable functions have been attracted a lot of attention beyond the traditional hard electronics with silicon and oxide-based inorganic materials. The development of high performance stretchable transparent electrodes is of great necessity to realize highly efficient stretchable electronics. In this paper, we report the enhanced electrical conductivity and stretchability of silver nanowires (AgNWs) and AgNW/PEDOT: P SS transparent electrodes by the introduction of the surface modifier, 11-aminoundecanoic acid(11-AA). Because the functional groups of -NH2 and -COOH of 11-AA form strong bonds between polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) substrate and AgNWs, the conductivity and stretchability of AgNWs and AgNW/PEDOT :PSS are greatly improved.
