摘要
In health care, technologies should be diffused and adapted if their safety and efficacy has been established and determined. The role of making such a decision, that is whether the safety and efficacy of a certain technology is established, is encapsulated within the processes of a "health technology assessment (HTA)." In this way, HTA has had a central role in the development of a transient healthcare, which is constantly adapting to meet ever-evolving demands. HTA is a very useful concept and tool for providing information for evidence-based decision making. And evidence-based decision making is critical when resources should be allocated in health care. Therefore, from all interest parties in society, the consensus on the necessity for conducting HTA should be brought. And governments should incorporate results from HTA into policy making as possible as they can.
