Robust L2 - L∞ Filtering for Uncertain Nonlinear Delay Systems with Sensor Saturation

In this paper, a robust L-2 - L-infinity filter design method is presented for a class of continuous-time uncertain nonlinear systems of which the output equations contain the time-varying delay and the saturation items while the state equations contain the time-varying delay items. The memoryless sector region method is utilized to deal with the saturation, and the nonlinearity is subjected to the Lipschitz condition. A delay-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional(LKF) approach is presented to guarantee that the filtering error system is asymptotically stable and satisfies the L-2 - L-infinity performance constraint. An illustrative example is used to elucidate the efficacy of the proposed approach.
