Kinetics of delignification of coniferous wood with peracetic acid

摘要
Kinetics of delignification of spruce wood in the system H2O2-H2O-AcOH-AcOOH-catalyst were considered in the context of the general theory of homogeneous catalysis. A mathematical model in the form of a system of differential equations for the reaction rates and algebraic equations for mass balance, describing adequately the behavior of lignin and cooking liquor, was developed. The rate constants and the activation energies of all stages of the process were determined.
