摘要
Metal materials may degrade the performances of RFID systems by changing the characteristics of antennas, which result in a short read range. Different from other studies managing to design special antenna surfaces to minish metal effects,this paper gives a deployment method which only changes the gap between the antenna and metal, and adds some medium to integrate them. By adjusting the gap's thickness, metal effect is lessened and large gain is gained. Thus may improve the tag's read range. Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to simulate the tag's performance. Finally, theory analyses are also given.
