A simple UV irradiator for low dose reassessment with LiF TLD-100

摘要：
A simple and efficient UV irradiator specifically designed for dose reassessment by phototransferred thermo-luminescence is described. The instrument permits the automatic irradiation of loose TLD chips for a preselected time and at a controlled temperature. The good phototransference characteristics allow the efficient reassessment of absorbed doses of the order of 0.2 mGy with good measurement performance, well within the limits required for personnel dosimetry.
