Interrelation of specific heat and electron-electron interaction in metallic amorphous Ti-Si alloys close to metal-insulator transition

摘要
The specific heat and the conductivity of amorphous TixSi100-x alloys (3 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 41) were measured. Electronic specific heat coefficient gamma and residual conductivity sigma(0) were used as parameters of perturbation theory to calculate prefactor m in temperature dependence of conductivity sigma( T) = sigma(0) + mT(1/2). The results are compared with experiments in a-TiSi and several other systems. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
