摘要
Job stratification and the law of labor change (by Vladimir Anourin) presents a range of issues related to the theoretical, methodological and empiric research of professional stratification in contemporary Russia. For empirical purposes following indexes are suggested: education, level of qualification, job prestige. Both individual and mass professional mobility are influenced by the law of labor change linking technological level of productive forces development, on the one hand, with the character of professional activities, - on the other. A broad exposition of empirical data related to employment and current changes in it pen-nits to conclude that the law of labor change increases the share of people acquiring additional education and changing the kind of job.
