Nonlinear analysis of elastic shallow arches under concentrated forces

In this paper, the meshless method is used to the analysis of the large deformation of elastic shallow arches subjected to a concentrated force on the top. The exact solutions of the arch with the same geometrical characteristics and the different restraints are obtained. The critical forces of static buckling for the arches are given. At the same time, we find that the critical displacements of the arches with the different restraints are equal when the symmetric buckling of the arches takes place.
