摘要：

Two new species of oribatid mites of the family Phthiracaridae, Arphthicarus filiformis sp. nov. and Austrophthiracarus flagellatus sp. nov., are described from riparian forest litter in Venezuela. Keys to the species of Arphthicarus and Austrophthiracarus known from Venezuela are provided.
