摘要：

Rectifiers that work in the quantum regime are discussed. The quantum rectifier consists of two weakly coupled quantum dots. It allows movement in one direction which is based on an asymmetry in the system that makes it much easier for motion to occur in one direction than another. It has two advantages such as it is fully controllable and it is capable of blocking current entirely in one direction.
