摘要
Advanced thermal management of the powertrain system can improve the powertrain efficiency, fuel economy etc. Modelling the powertrain thermal system is a necessary task before starting any optimization process, and the challenge comes from the lack of parameters that are required for the model. This paper introduces a new robust identification process that is able to estimate the parameters required for the thermal model, which take the nonlinearities of the thermal model into account. After that, the process of optimizing the powertrain thermal system with the objective of improving the powertrain efficiency and reducing fuel consumption will be presented.
