摘要
In order to improve the fault-resilient capacity of the switched reluctance starter/generator systems, this article presents a fault diagnosis and tolerant strategy for position sensors of the system. The fault diagnosis method, based on capturing the pulse edges of the position signals, has very high flexibility and reliability. Moreover, a fault-tolerant control strategy for position sensors is proposed, which can be used in nonuniform variable speed conditions. The principle of the proposed fault-tolerant control strategy is to record three adjacent time intervals, updated in each edge of position signals, and then the fourth time interval can be obtained according to the three adjacent time intervals. In case of position sensors having fault, fault-tolerant control strategy can be realized by reconstructing failure position signals, based on the fourth time interval. Therefore, the system can operate without deterioration of the system performance under the faulty condition of position sensors. Hence, the resilient capability and reliability of switched reluctance starter/generator systems are greatly improved with the proposed fault diagnosis and tolerant control strategy. Experimental results have verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed fault diagnosis and tolerant control strategy.
