摘要：
This paper discusses a concept of flexible distributed systems and an agent-based architecture for them. Then, an agent-based framework for developing such a flexible distributed system named ADIPS framework is proposed. This consists of distributed agent work places, agent repositories and support tools. Finally, agent-based flexible applications developed using the ADIPS framework are demonstrated.
