In the title compound [systematic name: 4-acetamido-N-(4-methylpyrimidin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide], C13H14N4O3S (NSMZ), which is the acetyl derivative of 4-amino-N-(4-methylpyrimidin-2-yl) benzenesulfonamide (sulfamerazine, SMZ), a network of N-H (.) (.) (.) N and N-H (.) (.) (.) O interactions results in sheets of molecules in the crystal structure.
