摘要：

The structure of 4-hydroxy-3-[(3E)-3-(hydroxyimino)-1-(4-nitrophenyl)butyl]-2H-chromen-2-one was determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in an orthorhombic crystal system and was characterized thus: Pbcn, a = 11.3411(8)angstrom, b = 10.0843 (14)angstrom, c = 33.170(3)angstrom, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 8, V = 3793.6(7)angstrom(3). The crystal structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares on F-2 to a final RI of 0.0946.
