Magnetostriction of 3%SiFe for 2-D magnetization patterns

摘要
A test system is discussed for measurements of rotational magnetostriction (RMST) of highly grain oriented SiFe. It is characterized by (i) a novel three-phase excited apparatus enhancing the magnetization of 'hard' directions and (ii) averaging over large grain sizes with respect to both the (quasi)homogeneous magnetization and the RMST detection. A strain tensor is calculated by means of the signals from three extra-long strain gauges. Results are presented for Hi-B material.
