摘要
A working group on Analysis Methods for Multi-Spacecraft Data was convened by the International Space Science Institute (ISSI) in 1996. Formed by members of the Cluster science community, and co-chaired by Gotz Paschmann and Malcolm Dunlop, the group's aim was to write a Handbook that would not only-collect the existing material, but would considerably expand and improve on previous work on the subject. Emphasis was to be placed on careful assessment of the accuracies and limitations of the techniques, as well as on a tutorial style. The book was published in,July 1998 as ISSI Scientific Report SR-001. In the meantime the book's production editor, Pat Daly, has converted the book into a PDF-File that is to be made public following some revision by the authors. The purpose of the talk was to present an overview of the book and highlight some of its findings.
