摘要
This paper summarizes the intermediate results of the WIMS 2.0 initiative, which has analyzed the keys for the convergence between the Web 2.0 and the Telecom worlds. After having proposed a two-sided strategy, that allow-v offering Telco capabilities to the Web 2.0 as well as enriching the operators services with Web 2.0 contents and events, an architectural model that catalyzes this convergence has been defined: the WIMS 2.0 Services Platform. Following this approach and focusing on the exposure of Telco capabilities towards Web 2.0, the use of open Web APls is one of the key aspects of the proposed solution. The real feasibility of these ideas has been verified through a proof of concept. This proof of concept, which is focused on the publication and distribution of Web 2.0 content, clearly reflects the power of a typical Web 2.0 concept that can also be applied to the telecom environment: service mashups.
