We show how some recent works of Webb and Infante, which gave a unified method of tackling many nonlocal boundary value problems, can be applied to some higher order boundary value problems. This allows us to improve some recent works on conjugate type boundary conditions. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
