摘要：

This article discusses the passive in the Javanese pivot. The Javanese language acts as an accusative language with an S/A pivot. In the merging of an intransitive clause with a transitive one, the omission of an argument in the Javanese language always demonstrates the behaviour of an accusative language with an S/A pivot. In the merging of these clauses, the Javanese passive clause has a pivot feeding function. The merging of transitive clauses not only has a pivot feeding function, but the passive also functions to change the referent from A to O.
