摘要
In recent years, the increasing penetration of renewable energy resources has significantly affected system reliability. Demand Response ( DR) as a capability of the smart grids by building a two-sided link between supply and demand can be an effective tool to mitigate this challenge. However, assessing the long-term impacts of the DR on system reliability from a planning perspective has not yet been studied in great depth. In this paper, a new dynamic model for long-term generation planning is proposed incorporating demand response and solar photovoltaic power generation. Modeling the relationship between responsive demands and price is done based on a new market-based mutual relevance. In addition, uncertainty in thermal power generation and availability of solar power are modeled in the proposed framework. In our simulations, different levels of DR participation and solar penetration have been tested for reliability analysis in the longterm.
