Gas-agitated extraction process for preparing of hydrogen peroxide

摘要
The novel extraction process for getting hydrogen peroxide with bottom gas injection in a spray column and a sieve plate column were investigated, respectively. In this process, the extraction efficiency is improved remarkably with increasing gas injection superficial velocity, even at rather smaller gaseous phase superficial velocity. The height of transfer unit (HTU) is largely reduced in a spray column and which is only 1/2similar to1/3 of conventional liquid-liquid extraction column. The overall plate extraction efficiency of sieve plate column is 2similar to3 times higher than that of liquid-liquid extraction without gas introduction. This may be attributed to the improvement of dispersed phase droplets dispersion and surface renewal, which in turn enhances the mass transfer rate.
